Our Differentiators
We are a dominant provider of test development and psychometric services for Information Technology (IT) certification programs and we are expanding our presence in professional credentialing, licensure, and educational testing. We are known for our sound psychometric consultation, advanced psychometric analysis capabilities, test development expertise, and CertMetrics™ Credential Management.
Our staff specializes in general psychometric consultation in the context of applicable policy and program design, evaluating and auditing programs, developing validation frameworks, conducting test development and validation projects (e.g., job analysis, blueprint development, item development, item and form analysis, forms assembly, standard setting and equating, security analysis), and credential management for small- and large-scale testing programs of national and international reach.
We are committed to contributing to the measurement community through research and service. Our psychometric staff members serve in leadership positions for professional organizations; serve in an editorial capacity and contribute to peer-reviewed journals; and also regularly present research at meetings of the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME), Association of Test Publishers (ATP), International Test Commission (ITC), American Educational Research Association (AERA), and National Conference on Student Assessment sponsored by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO). We are proud to be a member of The Association of Test Publishers (ATP) and The Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE). Psychometric staff are members of the National Council for Measurement in Education (NCME), International Test Commission (ITC), and the Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association (NRMERA). |
